Janice has a wealth of experience and training, holding a Diploma of Education, Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), Master of Arts (Counselling), Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy (ASH) and is a Registered Psychologist and member of the Australian Psychological Society.
Janice has over 19 years’ experience counselling a broad range of individuals, couples, families and groups.

Janice’s approach is supportive and collaborative, aimed at raising awareness and thus recovery through personal growth. Areas of expertise include child and adolescent issues, couple counselling, post-natal depression, parenting issues, anxiety, depression, anger management, drug and alcohol and other addictions, mindfulness and hypnosis. Work place stress, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and workers compensation are other areas of Janice’s counselling expertise, as is Career, Executive and Life Coaching. In 2015 Janice qualified as a Nationally Accredited Dispute Resolutions Mediator.

As our principal Psychologist at Psychologists Southern Sydney (PSS) Janice sets high professional standards for all the team to follow. She employs fellow psychologists that have a commitment to integrity, confidentiality, excellence in counselling techniques and client care.

As someone who has raised a family and built PSS business in the St George and Sutherland Shire with her husband Mark, Janice provides clients with a wealth of counselling and therapeutic experience plus an understanding and maturity that comes from extensive life experiences.
