Natalie is a registered psychologist with extensive experience in a clinical setting working with teenagers, adults and couples.

Her approach to therapy is warm and open.  She believes that the therapeutic relationship between therapist and client is paramount to effective treatment and spends time getting to know her clients and what they would like to achieve from their treatment.  Natalie has a strong passion and focus on helping clients to obtain a solid understanding of their symptoms and issues and how they can develop the strategies to move forward.  She takes every effort to ensure you feel comfortable, confident in your treatment and safe to share anything you may wish with no fear of judgement.

Natalie is also a trained relationship counsellor and works with couples to overcome challenges and restore their relationships. She also works with clients age 14 and up with a large variety of presentations including; depression, anxiety, mood disorders, grief/bereavement, relationships, low self-esteem, trauma including childhood trauma, perfectionism, emotional regulation issues, interpersonal concerns or conflicts and post-natal depression and anxiety.

Training includes a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours at Southern Cross University in 2009 and a Post Graduate Diploma (masters equivalent) of Professional Psychology at Macquarie University in 2013.  Prior to her clinical work, Natalie gained experience both in the mental health sector in addition to occupational rehabilitation and management work.

Natalie comes from a strong cognitive behavioural therapy background and is also trained and able to utilise schema therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and DBT skills.  She also has a wealth of knowledge in interpersonal skills training and psychology of influence.

Married with a young child Natalie understands the demands of balancing her family and work commitments. She strongly believes in regular exercise and sensible eating to maintain her energy levels and wellbeing.
